The 6 steps to decision making

Having trouble making a decision? Follow these 6 steps and make your decision with greater awareness!

1. Recognize the need behind making the decision: what is driving you to decide, what do you want to achieve?

2. Framing the issue: gather lots of information about the issue under consideration and narrow it down.

3. Find alternatives: find and evaluate two to four alternatives until you end up to the appropriate ones.

4. Choice: choose the best alternative for you.

5. Implementation: implement your chosen alternative and observe its progress.

6. Evaluation: evaluate your decision and get feedback from its results. If the consequences are negative, repeat the process and apply another alternative.

And remember! Many times even if our decision has turned out to be wrong, when we are called to decide again, it is not necessary that we will make another choice...
