First-person singular

In order to avoid criticism or accusations - things that can only increase existing tension, use the first-person singular (I am, I have...) when making statements and discussing a problem.

Make sure your precise; E.g. say " I am upset that you left the table without picking up your plate" instead of " you never do anything around here". Remember, practice makes perfect.
