Energy flows where attention goes.
Energy is defined as the ability to act effectively and it is determined by the four energy sources; our body, our emotions, our mind and our spirit. All four sources of energy are essential in both personal and professional life. They interact with each other and are of same importance. Every day, we consume a great amount of energy due to the demands of the multiple roles we are asked to fulfil in our professional and personal lives, so that we can successfully meet the challenges we face.
It is important to find ways to manage the energy levels, so we can find internal balance and recognize which factors strengthen and weaken our energy levels during the day. Through everyday actions, energy levels can be replenished systematically, so it is important to revitalize and recharge!
Today, due to the fast rhythms of daily life our stress levels are likely to increase. We need to aim for our stress levels to keep us mobilized and alert, but not get so high as to lead us to intense anxiety that consumes our mental and physical energy. We should handle stress in our everyday life and at the same time manage our four energy sources successfully, ensuring balance and well-being in our life.
